50 Cent hits back at trolls on fat-shaming after his Epic Super Bowl halftime performance

50 Cent’s epic appearance at the Super Bowl on Sunday was trolled by some viewers, but the rapper isn’t bothered by the comments as he knows ‘I can drop the weight’

He made a surprise appearance alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Anderson at the Super Bowl halftime concert on Sunday. Paak. On Thursday, 50 Cent – whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III – responded to fat-shaming haters on Instagram.

The iconic rapper, 46, asserted: ‘Fat shaming only applies when you’re ashamed of your fat’ and insisted: ‘they know I can drop the weight.’

Alongside a snap of an article reporting the fat-shaming 50 Cent was subjected to following his performance at the Super Bowl, he addressed the nasty comment.

He wrote: ‘I call this teasing me, They’re just teasing me because they know I can drop the weight. That’s why I laugh with them.

‘Fat shaming only applies when you’re ashamed of your fat. LOL’

It comes after 50 Cent received praise for surprise Super Bowl spectators by performing his smash song In Da Club backwards during the game.

The superstar performed a performance of his mega-hit at the famed halftime slot at the NFL showcase at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, transporting fans back to 2003.

Dre and Snoop opened the night with Still Dre and California Love before 50 Cent entered the stage for his meme-inspiring appearance.

Eminem, 49, took the knee at the end of his performance of Lose Yourself, despite claims that the NFL had requested musicians not to make the athletic event political, which was later contradicted by a representative.

Kendrick Lamar sang Alright, a song he released in 2015 that became a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement.
