Jane Fonda cuts a youthful figure modeling a summery blouse as she swings by Good Morning America

When she was spotted in Times Square this week on her way to Good Morning America, Jane Fonda seemed as vivacious as ever. The 84-year-old slid into a summery outfit that included fitting white pants and revealed an exceptionally lean figure.

She accentuated her enviably slender waistline by buttoning herself into a soft floral shirt that she tucked into her jeans.

Stepping out: Jane Fonda was sprightly as ever when she was spotted in Times Square this week headed into Good Morning America

It was possible to observe the famous exercise tape star, who previously said that she “bought myself a decade with plastic surgery,” grinning and waving.

During her most recent outing, Jane presented a fit and youthful body and had good posture as she moved around Midtown Manhattan.

On that day’s episode of Good Morning America, Jane discussed her personal perspective on life’s shifting fortunes while promoting her animated film Luck.

Using an old proverb attributed to Seneca, she reverted to the statement, “This is not unique to me, but luck is preparation meeting opportunity.”

Jane elaborated: ‘You know, opportunity can come along and there are people who don’t know – they can’t even see it, much less seize it and use it. In a way, you have to prepare yourself to take advantage of opportunity and turn it into luck.’

She went on: ‘I also believe, and this is kind of the theme of the movie, that it’s not a binary. It’s not all good luck and bad luck and the two ne’er shall meet.’

Publicity rounds: While promoting her animated feature Luck on Good Morning America that day, Jane shared her own mindset about life's changing fortunes

Jane argued: ‘They’re the same. It’s like silence makes no sense without noise, life makes no sense without death – well, good luck makes no sense without bad luck.’

She jokingly remarked, “I haven’t watched the movie yet so it’s fun to look at these little excerpts,” when host George Stephanopoulos showed a brief clip from the movie.

Luck appears following the conclusion of Jane’s long-running Netflix comedy Grace And Frankie, which allowed her to reconnect with Lily Tomlin, her 9 To 5 co-star.

This April saw the release of Grace And Frankie’s final batch of episodes. Marta Kauffman, the show’s co-creator, also contributed to Friends’ creation.

Both Jane and Lily play ladies who are polar opposites and end up living together: a carefree New Age type and an aristocratic martini-swilling martinet.

After their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) deserted them for one another, they are forced to live together.

Dynamic duo: Luck comes after the end of Jane's long-running Netflix sitcom Grace And Frankie, which reunited her with her 9 To 5 co-star Lily Tomlin

Dolly Parton, who co-starred with Jane and Lily in the seventh and last season of 9 to 5, made a cameo.

A follow-up to her popular 2018 comedy Book Club, in which four elderly women read Fifty Shades of Grey and find new life, is among Jane’s next movies.

Jane, along with Mary Steenburgen, Diane Keaton, and Candice Bergen, have recently been spotted filming Book Club 2 in Italy.
