Liam Neeson Confesses He ‘Fell in Love’ with a Woman Who Was ‘Taken’ While Shooting Latest Movie

Liam Neeson wasn’t planning to find love on the set of his latest film Blacklight. The action star revealed he “fell in love” with a woman while filming his latest movie in Australia.

The romance, however, was not meant to be…

The Schindler’s List star told Sunrise hosts David Koch and Natalie Barr on Monday that the woman he developed feelings for was already taken.

Talking about his experience on set, Neeson said: “I loved Melbourne. I loved our Australian crew, they are fantastic workers.”

“Every department was superb. They were their own people, do you know what I mean? They had a great sense of humour,” the Northern Irish actor added.

He then described how he made some friends – and some more than friends.

“I made a couple of pals. I fell in love,” revealed Neeson – hastily adding: “but she was taken.”

I sincerely hope he means that she was simply in a relationship with another man and that she was not ‘taken’ in the same manner that his family is in his blockbuster film series.

Neeson ended the interview by adding he was looking forward to returning to Australia.

“I look forwards to going back, I really do,” he said.

Neeson’s wife – actor Natasha Richardson – died tragically in 2009 after a fatal fall at a Canadian ski resort. She was just 45. The actors shared two sons, Micheál and Daniel, who are now in their 20s.

The long-time bachelor’s love reveal has sent fans into a craze as they desperately search for his mystery partner, with Koch and Barr appealing to viewers for assistance to locate her.

“If you know the lady involved, go to the Facebook page. Give us some hints,” said Koch.

People on Twitter also had their interests piqued, with one intrigued user asking: “So who’s the lucky lady?”

Others joked that Neeson, who famously rescues his kidnapped daughter in the blockbuster film Taken, should be well-equipped to win over his elusive love interest.

“If she’s taken, Liam knows what to do. He’s got some special skills,” one joked.

“When has Taken ever stopped Liam Neeson?” quipped another.
