.During a surprise visit with a family of 11, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal conducted a series of good deeds. He began by taking a family of nine children out to eat. However, what began as a free lunch ended in a visit to a nearby Mercedes dealership.

The Collins family, who have amassed a large social media following, needed a car that could accommodate their growing family. As a result, O’Neal, ever kind, decided to buy them a brand new 15-passenger van.
In an Instagram post, the family said that they ‘have no words right now!!!’.

The family continued that: “Last night we had a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to dinner as a family at babes chicken. It was so much fun to just hang out and eat dinner with him.
“And then today!! He started the day off by taking us to the Mercedes dealership to get us a new family 15 passenger van.”
But that wasn’t all Shaq had in store for this family. He also took the family to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner that evening.

He even paid for another family’s supper AND left a $1000 tip for the waitress.
When Shaq learned that the Collins’ father’s truck had been unable to supply air conditioning or heat for some time, he brought them to a Ford dealership and purchased a brand new truck for him.
Shaq ‘also spent time encouraging us and loving on our children and speaking life into our family,’ the family posted on Instagram.
Shaq’s generosity has previously gained attention when he dressed up as a real-life Santa Claus and gave away thousands of free gifts over the Christmas season. 1,000 PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles were among the prizes.
According to Gary Vaynerchuk’s podcast The Gary Vee Audio Experience, he has been obligated to give back to the community in part because of his parents: “You know for me, coming from where I come from, my father was a drill sergeant, my mother just was a hard-working woman,”
“Didn’t have a lot. But they taught me the value of giving back. They taught me the value of helping those in need.”
