Kate Moss is set to appear Depp and Defamation Trial after Heard’s “Stair” Remark

In Johnny Depp’s defamation blockbuster trial against Amber Heard, Kate Moss is set to testify on Wednesday. The headlines kicked off on Monday after Amber named dropped her during her testimony earlier.

When Amber referenced Kate during her testimony many weeks ago, saying she heard a report that Johnny knocked his ex-girlfriend down a flight of stairs, the Hollywood actor’s lawyers fist-pumped.

Moss is now set to testify on Wednesday to quell rumors that Depp pushed her down the stairs when they were dating, as sources say Moss has always been supportive of her ex-boyfriend. They are seen here attending a screening of the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Kate, who is known for her secrecy, is likely to speak out during the well-publicized trial, which has been making headlines since it began.

Amber claimed a few weeks ago that she was frightened that her husband would harm her sister, Whitney, who was there at the time, during a 2015 argument.

She said that at that moment, she “instantly thought of Kate Moss and the stairs, and I swing at him”.

Johnny’s lawyer, who could be seen rejoicing and punching his fist in the air as Johnny smiled by his side, was incensed by her remarks.

It was initially thought that Kate’s name was forbidden from being featured in proceedings – but rumors are now indicating that Johnny’s side might have evidence to debunk an alleged incident between Johnny and Kate.

During their relationship, which lasted from 1994 to 1997, Kate has never claimed that Johnny abused her.

Johnny opened up about the demise of their relationship three years after it ended, admitting he was to blame.

“I have never got that emotional over a woman before,” he said in a candid interview with HELLO! magazine in 1998.

“I have been so stupid because we had so much going for our relationship. I’m the one who has to take responsibility for what happened – I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way and I didn’t give her the attention I should have done.

“The whole thing was crazy because I should never have got so worked up over what people had to say about my work,” he said.

“Sure I should care about my movies, but when I get home I should try to leave that stuff behind. I couldn’t do that and I was horrific to live with. Trust me, I’m a total moron at times.”

Kate, who rarely speaks about her private life, later admitted to Vanity Fair that she had cried “for years” following the split.

“There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. Like if I said, ‘What do I do?’ he’d tell me,” she shared.

“And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”

Moss will testify on Wednesday to refute accusations that Depp pushed her down the stairs while they were together, according to sources, who claim Moss has always been supportive of her ex-boyfriend.
