One Of R Kelly’s Alleged Victims Says They’re Now Engaged

R Kelly is “not the monster” people make him out to be, according to one of his alleged victims, who also revealed she is engaged to him. Judge Ann Donnelly received a letter from Jocelyn Savage before the disgraced musician.

R Kelly, real name Robert Sylvester Kelly, received a 30-year prison term for his involvement in s*x trafficking and racketeering.

Before he received a 30-year sentence, Joycelyn Savage sent a letter to Judge Ann Donnelly in which she referred to him as “an all-around amazing person” and asserted that she was “not the victim.”

In 2019, allegations that Kelly was abusing Savage surfaced, including claims that he had caused her to become pregnant and forced her to have two abortions.

Savage, though, denied ever being compelled to have an abortion and blamed the charges on an imposter a month after they were made.

In her letter, Savage said: “My name is Joycelyn Savage, and I’m Robert Kelly’s fianće.

“I’m writing this letter in support of Robert in advance of his sentencing, so I can explain to the court that I’m not the victim that the government has portrayed me to be.”

The 26-year-old continued by calling the union “wonderful,” claiming they had a “really special connection” and were “truly in love.”

Savage, who has been living with Kelly since 2015, wrote in her letter that she will “always be here to support him” and that she “still supports him to this day.”

She continued: “Robert’s an all-around incredible person. He loves his music and is very passionate about that. He’s positive, outgoing and very generous.

“He always takes any opportunity he can to help those in need. He’s very determined and focused on his goals, and the things that have been said about him, with me and other women being held against our will is absolutely untrue. It’s the complete opposite of who he is and what my relationship is like with Robert.”

Following a six-week trial last year, Kelly, 55, was found guilty of s*x trafficking and child abuse and given a 30-year prison term last month.

Even though Savage has frequently shown support for Kelly, her family, who haven’t spoken to her in years, says that the celebrity has brainwashed Kelly.

Back when Savage first claimed that the allegations had been made by an imposter, her family said in a statement: “We’re saddened and disappointed to learn that Joycelyn Savage has said that she was not the person operating the Patreon account.

“We deeply desired to hear her story and in her own voice outside of the presence of Robert Sylvester Kelly or anyone associated with him.”

Amber Heard wants to toss the verdict or order a new trial in the Johnny Depp case, citing issues with award and jury

Amber Heard is attempting to appeal or overturn the June judgment in the well-known defamation case she and her ex-husband Johnny Depp were involved in.

The Aquaman actress’ legal team cited a number of flaws with the decision in a lengthy filing in Virginia court on Friday, including inadequate legal reasoning, an improperly screened jury, and overly awarded damages.

After finding Heard guilty of defaming Depp by making allegations of domestic abuse in a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post, the jury decided in Depp’s favor last month and ordered her to pay the Pirates of the Caribbean actor $15 million in damages.

Heard was granted $2 million in damages via a counterclaim when the judge eventually decided to cap the charges at $10.35 million.

Elaine Bredehoft stated in the latest filing that the amount Heard must pay is disproportionate as a matter of law because the jury’s finding was unsupported by any evidence.

She further asserted that Depp’s damages were not attributable to the op-ed because his legal team concentrated on incidents that occurred in 2016.

Another piece examines the actor’s anonymity in the Washington Post article, which was a point of contention during the current trial.

Bredehoft’s arguments include the claims that Depp is not entitled to compensation for any actions taken before the op-ed, that “Depp did not show evidence of genuine malice,” and that “the verdicts on the complaint and counterclaim are irreconcilable and consequently should be set aside.”

Bredehoft concludes by stating: “Ms. Heard respectfully requests this Court to set aside the jury verdict in favor of Mr. Depp and against Ms. Heard in its entirety, dismiss the Complaint, or in the alternative, order a new trial.

“Ms. Heard further requests this Court to investigate potential improper juror service and take appropriate action warranted by the results of the investigation.”

Heard’s publicist Alafair Hall told The New York Times shortly after the decision was made in early June that she intended to appeal, though it was unclear at the time on what legal grounds she would do so.

In a statement made public after the decision, Heard made it apparent she was not happy with the outcome of the case, calling herself “disappointed” and asserting that there was a “mountain of evidence” to support her claims.

This week Amber Heard’s perjury investigation also continues in Australia amid Depp trial

“I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband,” Heard wrote.

The latest appeal, according to Depp’s attorney, was “what we expected, just longer, no more substantive,” told Courthouse News.

Bette Midler calls for a ban on viagra as it’s ‘God’s will to have a limp d**k’

Last week, the US controversially reversed Roe v. Wade, thus outlawing abortion for millions of women there. Actress Bette Midler has now criticized the decision, arguing that Viagra should also be outlawed because having a “limp d**k” must be “God’s will.”

The 76-years-old actress tweeted: “Time to ban Viagra. Because if pregnancy is ‘God’s will’, then so is your limp d**k.”

Many fans took sides with her and tweeted in support of Middler’s statement, with one person writing: “I love it. The Republican limp d**k party.”

Another said: “Been saying this for years.”

A third person commented: “My brother-in-law asked if they are going to ban condoms in red states – birth control right?”

While another wrote: “Couldn’t have said it better myself.”

The performer, who will star in the upcoming Hocus Pocus sequel later this year, has been outspoken about her opposition to the Supreme Court’s decision to return decisions about abortion legislative rights to the US states.

Following Roe v Wade being overturned, she tweeted: “They did it. THEY DID IT TO US! #SCOTUS has overturned #RoevWade, enshrined in the Constitution as settled law for over 50 years.

“How dare they? This #SCOTUS is absolutely tone-deaf to the will and even the actual needs of the American people. #WakeUpAmerica.”

According to the Guttmacher Institute, 26 states are already considering outlawing abortion in response to the Supreme Court decision.

Following the overturning over the weekend, “trigger laws” criminalizing abortion were already enacted in thirteen states, among them Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

On Monday (27 June), a court in Louisiana was able to stop the implementation of “trigger laws” that would have abruptly ended abortion rights throughout the state.

Judge Robin M. Giarrusso of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court ordered a temporary injunction preventing the state from enforcing the prohibition.

After Planned Parenthood challenged them because they had specific exceptions for rape, incest, or the mother’s health, an ABC News report states that a Utah judge similarly blocked “trigger laws” earlier this week.

Karrie Galloway, president, and chief executive officer of the Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, released a statement following the judge’s ruling.

She said: “Today is a win, but it is only the first step in what will undoubtedly be a long and difficult fight.”
